College DAYS", the most beautiful PHASE....

It’s a statement we have heard so many TIMES,
That college days are the most beautiful RHYMES.

They were the mesmerizing days, when fun used to deck up
the most sumptuous APPARELS,
When each day began with a smile and despite of being rebuked
we used to rest on our LAURELS !

Exuberance was something which became part of our LIFE,
Even in the dullest of moments hidden ecstasy used to be RIFE.

College compounds transmuted into a wonderland
with us all being the ALICE,
Chill was the “mantra” all pervasive and no place
for the word “MALICE”.

Those casual college gatherings after the classes
used to be too divine to RESIST,
They were very much akin to the glossiest ray, pepping through
the blanket of MIST !


Guffawing like a “Laughing Buddha” on the most
mundane of REMARKS,
Relying on the pocket money, yet Living Life King Size
was such a big FARCE   ;-)

Bunking classes once in a blue moon used to be the biggest adventure
we could ever HAD,
But, alas! Going doing the memory lane and pondering over the bygone days
does make us SAD  :-(
